Chives:

Chive flower vinaigrette: Fill a small jar about 1/2 full of white vinegar. Add fresh flowers until the jar is full, making sure that the flowers stay submerged. Cover and let it steep in a dark cupboard for at least 2 weeks. The vinegar will change to a beautiful pink colour and the blossoms white, making an interesting topic of conversation at your next luncheon.
