Pork with Lemon grass and Cinnamon Basil Print E-mail

Ingredients:

  • Freshly cut Lemon Grass and Cinnamon Basil from your Garden,
  • 4 Pork Chops
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 Onions cut in quarters
  • 1 cup Apple Juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


 

STEP 1:

  • Preheat Oven to 180ÂșC
  • Lightly oil an ovenproof dish
  • Place Chops, Onions, Apple juice, Salt and Pepper and Herbs into the dish,
  • Cover and bake for about 20 min.

STEP 2:

  • Remove lid and bake for a further 20-25 min, until the chops are well cooked and the sauce reduced
  • Remove Herbs and use the sauce as a gravy
  • Garnish the dish with a fresh sprig of Cinnamon basil
